The remodelling of this existing entrance which provided blue light access along with public entrances for both the OPD and Imaging departments has been transformed, resulting in a single unified pubic entrance to both departments, incorporating self-check in stations, a single point of contact Reception, seating with a new coffee shop and a relocation of the blue light entrance. This modern setting benefits visitors and patients by providing a more customer centred environment with clear way finding and spatial flow. This enabled the Trust to offer greater efficiencies and provide a more streamlined service to patients and visitors alike.
